The hotel is situated within the heart of Ayr's bustling town centre and close to all amenities, including the train station, cinema, racecourse and main shopping precinct including the new Ayr Central Shopping Centre.

There is also an offroad car park which is free for guests to use as well as a free wifi zone within the public areas.

As well as owning and operating the Ayrshire and Galloway Hotel, we can also boast the facilities of the Meridian Bier Cafe which is attached to the hotel and also Caprice Ayr and Caprice Prestwick. 

Caprice Ayr has a long and well established reputation within the population of Ayr and surrounding areas, and is fashoined as an art deco style continental brasserie. 

Caprice Prestwick opened it's doors in May 2000 and became an instant succss.  Following on from its sister outlet in Ayr it has a bright and airy feel to it.  This continental style brasserie has proved popular with tourists (Glasgow Prestwick International Airport is only five minutes away) and locals alike.

The Ayrshire and Galloway Hotel also has its own Shire Bar and our residents can also enjoy the facility of our "Late Bar" should a night cap be required to ease you into a comfortable sleep.
